Looks like the outer banks of Carolina took/ are taking wuite a beating. It's moving so slow that it's kinda like hanging over that part of the state.

A foot + of rain and 11 foot surges in some areas.

The 5 day cone has it turning up tword texas. Just read that they were evacuating some of the Florida Keys.

Just saw it updated to a category 4 with 135 mph sustained winds.

Unfortunately, it's gonna be as nasty as Katrina if it stays like this or intensifies.
